Why get certified?

In the event of a disaster, emergency medical response may be delayed due to the remoteness of your home or by adverse conditions such as roads blocked by floodwater or debris.

While precious minutes slip by, your emergency training could mean the difference between life and death. Properly administered first aid or CPR can help stabilize an injured or ailing family member until help arrives. Make sure at least one family member is trained in first aid, CPR, and how to use an automated external defibrillator.

You could save a life!

Testimonials

Lachrista W with The Broadway Clinic comments:
"Thank you! We all said the same thing about the session...we had fun, and the small group made learning fun too. See you again soon!"

from Cheryl with Edmond Lacrosse Club:
"We had a lot of positive comments from our coaches that attended, and I personally was extremely impressed with your knowledge, thoroughness, and willingness to tailor the class to meet Edmond Lacrosse Club's needs. You are a first rate company and I would receomment Custom Training Solutions to anyone."

Mike, a local physician, says:
"Thanks for the ACLS course. I was under the gun and you saved my bacon. The course was well done and I liked the low-key, down-to-earth, practical approach. I think your course will especially encourage those who have not done much resuscitating and make them feel they can do it when called on, and that they can make a difference."

from Diana N of SmileZone:
"We really enjoyed the BLS class that Ginger taught. The pace and information was perfect for our large group. Everyone got to practice their skill set until they were very comfortable and confident in their abilities. The fact that we were able to have the class taught at our office was an added convenience!"

SmileZone's Kelli C continues:
"I thought you might like to hear an interesting experience we had at the office this morning after having BLS last night. A dental assistant from the office next door came over to ask us to take her blood pressure. She wasn't feeling well...we while we were checking...her condition began to worsen. She lost all color, became extremely dizzy/light-headed and nauseated. We decided that she needed to go to the ER immediately ...called ahead to the ER to report (her) symptoms...and they were waiting for her arrival. That all occurred between 9 and 9:30 this morning ...during that time she went from fully responsive and alert to a semi-alert/responsive state. I thought that you would like to know that everyone was ready to put some of the emergency training to use this morning! (Dr Molloy has often said that we are most likely to use our first aid/emergency training with a parent or grandparent that is accompanying their child to an appointment and wants to make sure that we are prepared for child an adult emergencies.) We were prepared and were able to help give quick help to her this morning!"

Tricia B with Eide Bailly says:
"I would like to thank you for your dedication to teaching such a valuable course. Each of the attendees have commented that they enjoyed being in such an organized and extensive course ...I have taken several courses in the past and this one was truly more valuable and meaningful to me. I have confidence that faced with a situation I could step in without hesitation and perform the measures we learned in your course. Your teaching techniques show that you are truly dedicated to what you do. I will keep your contact information as a referral for others needing training."

Jennifer M with Orthopedic Institute comments:
"This is the greatest group I have ever had the pleasure of working with!"

Cheryl P had this to say:
"I was a new student to the ACLS class. I had heard 'horror stories' from other people about ACLS, so I was quite nervous! But Brian made the class easy to understand and quite fun to learn! His past experiences really add to the quality of the training! I highly recommend Custom Training Solutions for ACLS classes!"

from Terry A:
"Thank you for the (ACLS and PALS) service you offer. I enjoyed the time I spent with you. You make it not so scary but very informative and entertaining. I look forward to working with you again. Thank you."

comments from Linda H, RN, NREMT:
"I have taken both ACLS and PALS certification courses from Custom Training Solutions. The lead instructor I had for the classes was Brian Davis.
His knowledge base from working on the ambulance as an advanced practice professional is the driving force of his strength as an instructor for the American Heart Association. He is one of the most well versed and in-depth instructors I have had in the 17 years I have been ACLS certified. Since I work in the emergency room as a house supervisor with 8 years of ICU experience, there are few instructors that have challenged me and 'taught an old dog new tricks' but Brian did - and in a fun and enjoyable way.

"I have recommended Custom Training Solutions to my critical access hospital for their required certification needs as well as to my peers at OU College of Nursing in the advanced practice programs. This is how pleased I was with the quality of instruction, content of the course and professionalism that Custom Training Solutions provides. I STRONGLY recommend both persons new to ACLS and 'old dogs' like myself to utilize their services to help build excellent professional skills."

from Kelli with SmileZone:
"Everyone felt like they really learned and felt like they had the individual attention that they needed. Thanks so much for helping us out with the PALS! ”

Robert Steele, DDS, has this to say:
"We have used Custom Training Solutions for our past three certifications. Ginger provides a thorough class that makes you feel confident in your understanding of CPR and the proper techniques so you will not hesitate to put it to use when needed. ”

from Home Daycare Provider Tina:
"Thank you! We really enjoyed the class. It was very informal, yet professionally handled, down to the smallest detail. How convenient it was to be able to buy the faceshields during class! Ginger respected everyone's time and individual levels of experience throughout the entire class and instructed accordingly. I have had CPR and First Aid several times in the past and Ginger was the only one to to actually demonstrate the AED. Very wonderful experience from start to end. See you in 2 years! ”

Paige from Sweet Sitters says:
"Ginger was punctual, easy to work with, and fun!  She took a potentially stressful thing to learn and made CPR very simple and doable.  I feel confident that my colleagues and I are very capable of any disasters that may come our way.  This was definitely a better option than training I've had in the past.”

from Lorraine with Sensational Kids Physical Therapy:
"You did an outstanding job keeping our attention after a long week and hard day!  Thank you so much for your flexibility.  Without a doubt I would refer your company to any colleagues in need of CPR training services.

Home Daycare Provider Shandra A's comments:
"Thank you so much. It was very easy-going and actually fun...we have never had fun doing CPR. Thanks a bunch! We will for sure be using you again and I have already told my daycare group about you and will be telling others that want to know.

Pam F says:
"Thanks for the least painful ACLS class ever!"

from the Sutton family:
“We had a great time learning CPR with Custom Training Solutions. One of our sons needed CPR for a Boy Scout requirement so we decided to take the opportunity to learn as a family. Teaching a group with an age range from 7 to 72 could be very challenging, but Ginger taught us all with ease. We all walked away feeling confident in our newly acquired lifesaving skills. Thank you CTS!.”

Lene' M says:
"I really got a lot out of the CPR class that Ginger taught. She knows what she's doing and eager to answer any question. Ginger is very personable. She is easy-going but makes sure we understand the information!"

Becky M's comments:
"We loved Ginger's class. Her manner is friendly and helpful and she really listens to your concerns as she teaches. Having taken CPR & First Aid years ago, I found this course MUCH easier to understand than the other class I took. I won't hesitate to come back to Ginger and CTS next time I need certification or other advanced training. I highly recommend them not only for the quality of instruction but the reasonable cost."

from Homeschool Site Moderator, Ellen M:
"The CPR class was highly effective in a small group setting with easy access to hands on application as well as an informative instructor."

Home Daycare owen er Rita K says:
“I wanted to thank you for having my 20 year old son for CPR instruction. He learned CPR and First Aid with a smaller group in a more relaxed setting .You were very friendly, genuine and cordial. I do appreciate your expertise in teaching CPR/First Aid. I will definitely consider using you the next time I need CPR/First Aid to fulfill my requirements as a home daycare provider. When he needs to renew his CPR, my son will as well.”
