Why get certified?

In the event of a disaster, emergency medical response may be delayed because of the remoteness of your home or by adverse conditions, such as roads blocked by floodwater or debris.

While precious minutes slip by, your emergency training could mean the difference between life and death. Properly administered first aid or CPR can help stabilize an injured or ailing family member until help arrives. Make sure at least one family member is trained in first aid and CPR and how to use an automated external defibrillator.

General Class Information:

A minimum class size of 5 participants applies to all classes. Don’t have 5? We can combine you or your group with another small class with flexible scheduling. Discounts offered for large classes.

We combine American Heart Association (AHA) video-based teaching, verbal instruction, printed material, and hands-on skills practice using our manikins. AHA certification cards are provided upon completion of course certifying the participant for a period of two (2) years.

Emergency/Individual Classes:

We have also begun offering “emergency” individual classes for those needing training with only a few days notice. I must charge 2.5 times the regular cost of certification to accommodate these short-notice class needs. A pricing schedule is also available for two or three individuals desiring a combined short-notice class.
